Peacefully at the Pine Falls Health Complex, Anne Weiss, at the age of 101, entered into her eternal rest on Monday, May 21, 2012.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill, after 59 years of marriage, also her parents, her brothers Louis (Mildred), Rheinhold (Katy), Gordon (Sophie) and Ted, her sisters Matilda (Julius), Martha (Jack), Mabel (Ross), Helen (Ernie), Edna (Jim), and sister in-law Verna.
She is survived by her brothers Albert, Donald (Lorraine) of Emerson, Bill’s brothers Archie (Jean) of Emerson, Clarence (Betty) and sisters in-law Cathy and Ruth of Alberta, as well as many nieces and nephews from the Kein and Weiss families.
Anne’s family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the Pine Falls Hospital for their compassionate care during Anne’s hospital stay.
A Memorial Service was held on Monday, May 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pine Falls United Church with Rev. Wayne Larstone officiating. Interment followed the service at the Pine Falls Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, memorial donations in Anne’s memory may be made to Pine Falls United Church, which she dearly loved.
