Edmund passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the age of 82.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years Constance (nee Harrison), his children Clint and wife Brenda and Mavis and husband Brian Schneider, and two grandchildren Pierce and Kelsey. He is also survived by his sister Elsie Nowak and sisters in-law Sylvia and husband Jerry Lesosky and Lesley Harrison as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to our Home Care Case Coordinator Kristen Legrange and the dedicated Home Care Aides from Beausejour and Winnipeg for their daily care and compassion. A heartfelt thank you for the years of care from Dr. D. Schmidt and Dr. R. Askarifar as well as a thank you to Sobering Funeral Chapel.
A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held on Friday, January 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed’s memory may be made to Parkinsons Canada, Manitoba, 7-414 Westmount Drive, Winnipeg, MB R2J 1P2, STARS Ambulance, 155 West Hangar Road, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3Z1 or a charity of one’s choice.
