Pauline Betty (Kisiloski) Sternat

June 29, 1947 to March 4, 2010

Peacefully, surrounded by family, Pauline passed away at the Beausejour Hospital at the age of 62.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Raymond; her son, Jason (Priscilla); grandson, Adam; mother, Nellie Kisiloski; brothers, Richard (Sandra), and Larry (Barbara); nieces, Cynthia (Rick), Jennifer (Ryan), Charlene; nephew; Jonathan (Kirsten) and brother-in-law James (Betsy-Anne).

A devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother, Pauline loved to take care of her family and her home. Pauline spent her whole life in Tyndall, Manitoba, where she loved to garden. Pauline loved to share her wealth of knowledge on gardening. In 1978, together with her husband Raymond, they opened Ray’s Farm and Garden Supplies in Oakbank.

Despite health related struggles, Pauline maintained optimism and continued to care for her mother, Nellie, and spend time with her grandson, whom she adored. It was Pauline’s strong faith that helped her through her illness and will help her family through this difficult time. Pauline’s generosity, love and willingness to help anyone at anytime will always be remembered and greatly missed.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. N. Van Rensburg, the nurses and staff at the Beausejour Hospital. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation in Pauline’s memory to Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Garson, MB or Cancer Care, MB.

Prayers will be said on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Garson MB, with Rev. Fr. Charles Fillion presiding
