Donna Lee Relf

September 3, 1953 ~ May 11, 2022

It is with extreme sadness and heavy hearts we announce Donna’s passing on Wednesday, May 11, with her family at her side in the Beausejour Hospital.

She is survived by her husband Charlie; sons Tyler (Sherry) and Ryan; mother Eleanor Gmiterek; brothers Paul (Lori) and Patrick; sister Teresa (Greg); her grand cats Tiger & Tigger; brother-in-laws Bill (Olga) and Eugene (Eleanor); and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father Casmir, brother Peter, in-laws Clement and Violet, sister-in-law Patricia Stefaniuk, and nephew Curtis.

She was actively involved as a lay reader in the Anglican Church when it was open and now in the Baptist Church.

She volunteered at Togs & Treasures in Beausejour for many years.

She offered lots of support for her husband in the building of the South End Swimming Pool and the Playground.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Beausejour Hospital or Cancer Care.

We will celebrate Donna’s life on Monday, May 16, at 10:30 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, with lunch to follow at the Beausejour Room in the Brokenhead River Community Hall; 300 Veterans Lane, Beausejour, MB.  All are welcome to attend the service in the chapel or you may listen to the service in your vehicles of the Sobering Funeral Chapel parking lot, and tuning your radio station to 98.1 FM.

Donna was the most kind, loving person. She was devoted to her family and loved her sons with all her heart. Her daughter in law Sherry was very special to her and was so pleased to have her in Tyler’s life. I know you will miss her dearly but she will always be in your heart and watching over you. Take care, we have all lost a very special person who brought joy to all our lives. Rest In Peace Donna. Your friends Clarence and Valdine Bush
