Condolences for the family of “Mike Charkiewich”

Condolence from Karen on October 1st, 2019 10:28 pm

Please accept my sincere condolences on Mike’s passing. In his youth, your dad was a dear friend of my mother Lily and ‘Best Bud’ of her brother Mike Kenis. They all grew up in Pine Ridge area and were very close childhood friends. After moving to Beausejour, your dad and my mom Lily ran into each other and were able to revive their friendship with weekly phone calls and occasional visits. It was nice for them to have someone with whom to recall the olden days of their youth in Pine Ridge. Your dad also liked to share his poems and even gifted Lil with framed copies of his works. He was a kind man to my mom and will be fondly remembered for that. Sincerely, Lil’s Daughter Karen
