Claudette was welcomed home by her family on June 27, 2026, at the age of 60.

She will be remembered by her sister Nicole Papineau, her nieces Taylor Lavoie, and Tara McRae (Sean). Her Nephew Evan (Lyndsey) Sundstrom.

She is predeceased by her parents Oscar and Annette Papineau, and her sister Laurette Sundstrom.

Claudette spent 17 years with the Canadian military she was a corporal and enjoyed her job driving truck for the logistics division of the Canadian Armed Forces. Claudette loved her family and was always known to be happy and giggling. Everyone loved Claudette and she will be dearly missed.

A very special thank you to all the staff at East Gate Lodge PCH for all the years of care and compassion.

As per Claudettes request cremation has taken place, and a private internment service will take place.
