Linda Fast, 68, of Garson Manitoba passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre on August 31, 2026.

Linda was born in Kamsack Saskatchewan to Jack and Elsie Robinson. The family moved to The Pas Manitoba in 1969 where Linda attended school and later began working in retail. In 1981 Linda and her son Trevor made the move to Winnipeg where she was employed with Macleods / TruServe.

The move to Garson with Rudy was her happy place where her free spirit was able to soar. Her life was filled with love, laughter, friends, volunteering, gardens, projects, special neighbors; a full life, and much happiness. Her illness was the only thing that held her back from doing the things in life that mattered to her, but she found a way to keep moving. She was strong, determined, and courageous in the face the cancer.

Linda was predeceased by her brother Barry and father Jack and is survived by her husband Rudy, son Trevor (Ginette), mother Elsie, sister Patty (Ed), nephew Brenan, niece Tara (Nathan), Avielle and Vonn. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday September 15, 2026 at the Garson Community Hall.

The medical professionals at HSC, SRHC, and CancerCare were held in the highest regard by Linda and her family. Donations to CancerCare Manitoba in her memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
