With overwhelming sadness and loving memory of Philip Mark Boase (63), who passed away suddenly on July 5th, 2026 at home in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba.

Loving son of Thelma Boase (nee Owen) and Derek Boase (predeceased in 2011). Predeceased by his girlfriend Janet Hartley.

Survived by his sister, Carol Ann Larocque (Alain), niece Jacinthe Larocque (Mitch), nephew Miquel Larocque ( Genese) , and great nieces Kiana and Aria Mechefske.

Philip was born in England and emigrated to Pinawa, Manitoba with his family in 1966. He lived in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba for most of his adult life and worked at Drifters for many years.

Philip enjoyed boating, and fishing. His most recent fishing experience was in Halifax with Alain, while on a cruise around New England with Thelma, Carol, and Alain. He was happy and thrilled to catch a cod.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by friends and family in Canada and England. Cremation at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, Manitoba with entombment alongside his much loved father, at the Pinawa cemetery at a later date.
