On May 18, 2026, at Riverview Health Centre, peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, Dad’s long-awaited reunion with his son Derrick was fulfilled.

Left to miss him deeply are his wife, Ellen, of nearly 63 years; his daughter, Darlene (Steve) Palamar; brother Alfred, sister Alice Trombo, very close nephew Dennis (Giséle) along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who were all special to him.

Dad was welcomed with open arms by his son Derrick, his mother & father, Laura and Edward, brother Roger, sister Eileen Sikora, and numerous close relatives and friends that have gone before him.

The family would like to thank the medical and support staff at the Riverside Lions Manor and Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion throughout. We would also like to thank Sobering Funeral Chapel for their invaluable assistance during this difficult time.
