IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Earl
Bendoreiter
March 23, 1954 – March 27, 2026
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Bendoreiter, aged 72. Bob passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, in Selkirk, Manitoba.
Born on March 23, 1954, in Whitemouth, Manitoba, lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to his family, career, and passions. Bob was the beloved husband of Debbie for an extraordinary 52 years. Their enduring partnership was a testament to love and commitment. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and shared joys. Bob was a devoted father to his son Rob Bendoreiter and daughter Kim Jones. He also took immense pride in being a grandfather to Kayla and Bryce, who brought him endless happiness.
Professionally, Bob had a distinguished career with Imperial Oil. His work ethic and leadership left a lasting impression on those he worked with throughout his career.
Outside of his professional life, Dad found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time at the lake and on his acreage, where he could connect with nature and enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors. An avid fisherman and golfer, he relished every opportunity to cast a line or perfect his swing. His quick wit and sense of humor endeared him to all who knew him. He was truly a friend to both humans and animals alike. His departed beloved pups, Otis and Obee, were constant companions who held a special place in his heart.
Dad’s deep love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. Aside from those mentioned above, Dad also survived by his sisters, Elsie & Evelyn, numerous nieces, nephews and friends alike. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Frieda Bendoreiter; his father-in-law Jim Gardiner; mother-in-law Dolores Gardiner; sister Esther Keeley; brother-in-laws Brian Keeley, Lyle Harkness & Gerald Balness. sister-in-law Laurie Gagnon; brother-in-law Denis Gagnon; and niece Vicki Aldridge and many other close family and friends. Though their loss weighed heavily on him over the years, he carried their memories with love.
Our Dad left a legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him as we celebrate the remarkable life he lived.
