April 28, 1939 ~ April 4, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Yvette.  We, her family and friends, will always remember her gentle strength and spirit.  Mom always displayed a true acceptance of all God’s children; this was felt by so many throughout her life.  She was kind, selfless and had a compassionate and spiritual nature that was creative and wise.

Yvette was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother; she was also a caring and loyal friend.  Our mother adored her grandchildren Kristen (Logan), Stephanie (Derek), great grandson (Owen), and Brittany (Jacob), great grandson (Daryl).  Mom loved her family, sister Diane (Chico and Robbie), nieces Nicky (Scott, Randy, Jana and Alex) and Sherry; daughters Diane (John), Brenda (Alvin), and son Rick.

Mom has joyfully joined her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, husband Roland, our brother Owen, nephew Mitch, her sister Adele (Bill), brother Gilbert and our grandparents (George and Lucy Chevrefils) as well as many other cousins, family and friends.

A sincere thank you to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home and Dr. Bruneau who took such good care of her during this very difficult time.

We will postpone Mom’s Celebration of Life until we can all safely meet.  A notice will be posted.

Love and Peace Forever Mama

Diane, Brenda and Rick

Dear Rich, Diane and Brenda:
I met your Mom in the mid 80’s and we became fast friends. I joined the Prayer Group that she was in and many times leading and loved her spiritual presence and her love of God. Your Mom was always faithful to her church family and was appreciated by so many people, both in Lac du Bonnet and afar.

We will all miss her deeply. She is at peace with her Loving God. Marline Wruck

To all Yvette’s familly,

Yvette was to me a very special woman who taught me many beautiful things , such as art ceramic, recipes etc.. and she was caring a lot for everyone around her. I have so many good memories for the moments that we shared together.

I wish her to be in peace where she wanted beside my lovely dad Rolland.
Peace to all,

Love Denise and the girls.
