Albert (Bert) Dementovich Levchik

February 27, 1927 ~ September 6, 2018

Bert passed away peacefully at East Gate Lodge on September 6, 2018.

Bert was predeceased by his mother Edith Mary Leach (Dary); father Dementi Levchik; sisters, Anne Leach, Kathleen (Kay) Leach Walsh (Gerry); and brother Ed Leach.

Bert is survived by nieces, Cheryl Walsh-Ludlow (Ken), Deirdree Walsh-Krumrei (Gary); nephews, Darrell Walsh, Graeham Walsh (Liling); great-nephews, Kevin, Matthew, Stephen, Darcy (Ashley), Jarrett; great-nieces, Kathryn (Stuart), Kelly, Becky (Jordan), Shannon, Shalee; great-great-nephews, Aeden, Ewan, Remi; great-great-niece Josie; and friends Elizabeth and Gaylord Neuman.

Bert was a devoted son, loving brother, caring uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle and friend.

Thank you to the staff at East Gate Lodge for their exemplary care and kindness extended to Bert for the past 6 years.

A celebration of Bert’s life will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. E., Beausejour on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 3:30 P.M.
