Daniel passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2015.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife Adele, two sisters Audrey (Walter) Worona and Bernice Craig, three stepchildren Glenn Byczek, Claudia Byczek and Sharon (Sheldon) Sveinson and two grandchildren Keegan and Eathan Sveinson.
He was predeceased by his mom and dad Axel and Nannie Blomquist, sister Ellen and brothers Rae, Ken, and Clifford.
Daniel had a wonderful sense of humour and always had a joke to tell. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion and enjoyed playing crib, darts, and table top curling.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bruneau and the nurses at Pinawa Hospital for the care they gave him.
In Celebration of Daniel’s Life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 45 McArthur Avenue, Lac du Bonnet, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Daniel’s honour to the Animal Protection Organization of your choice.
