It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Don Welz on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the age of 72.
Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Nadine, children, Donna (Ron) and Bridget (John), grandchildren, Dallas and Carly, very close sister-in-law Angie (Jeff), brother Wally (Jan), sister Gloria, many nieces and nephews, special furry friend Lucy and best friend Don. Don will also be missed by many friends and co-workers.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Beausejour Hospital, CancerCare and Pinawa Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Don.
As per Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Network 4 Change, Box 1698, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0 or CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
