It is with profound sadness we announce that our Mum, very quietly and peacefully, left us to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Left to forever cherish her memory are her children, Gaille (Elmer), with whom Mum has lived since coming to Canada in 2006, Billy (Pam) and Diane in Scotland, Elaine (Andy) in Australia and Joan in Wales.
Mum is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren (with 2 more expected in October) as well as a brother and sister, nieces and nephews in England and Scotland.
A private memorial service followed by interment in Monominto Cemetery, Anola has taken place.
For her gentleness, compassion and caring, I would like to thank Mum’s “Angel on Earth”, Dr. Daphne Schmidt. We couldn’t have asked for a better doctor over the last 7 years.
