Joyce passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Selkirk General Hospital with her family by her side.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jan (Len) Pleskacz, Donna (Darren) Heckert and Doug (Charmaine); grandchildren Mike (Alanna) Pleskacz, Debbie (Cam) Lussier, Lorinda Tripp, Candyce (Matt), Kristen and Tyson Heckert; 7 great grandchildren; sister Katie Sytnick, brother Frank (Leona) Okrainec, brother-in-law Ted Semchuk, and many nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by her husband John; parents John and Pauline Okrainec and siblings Mary, Helen, Dan, Emil, Jean and Jim.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. East, Beausejour, MB.
In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations may be made in Joyce’s memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
