Alain Lupien

Suddenly and peacefully , Alain died on Saturday morning in the arms of his loving wife Natalie, with his loyal dog Daisy at his side.

Alain was a vibrant man who enjoyed working hard and playing hard. He loved his career as a glazier which took him all over the world building skyscrapers and other glass buildings. Alain loved working at heights, driving fast cars and motorcycles. He also loved “hitting the road” on his Harley or in his VW camper van, “Old Blue”, not knowing where the road would take him.

Alain loved helping others. Often you would find him proudly using his many skills as a “Jack of all trades”, to help friends and neighbours with handy work of all types.

Alain loved God and his family. The family he grew up with, and the many nieces and nephews that he had been blessed with.

Alain has spent the last part of his life in Pinawa since 2013. Moving here allowed him to settle down a bit, and he enjoyed the scenery, the animals, and the peace and quiet. If you had the chance to meet Alain, he likely greeted you with a smile, a wave and a Bonjour! The last year of Alain’s life has been especially good working as a cleaner at CNL, as he was able to meet many good people there which made him happy.

You will be missed, Al!

Cremation will take place and Alain’s ashes will be buried with his beloved parents, Marcel and Gabrielle, this summer in Quebec.

You are in the arms of Jesus,

On this beautiful March day,

With your parents and loved ones,

Who you missed so much while you were here.

Thank you for loving me the best you could, and more.

You are one of a kind, and I love you for it.

A bright and beautiful soul

Now free from pain and full of Love

Rest in Peace my Sweetheart.

Merci mon Dieu

Mercie la vie

Merci mon amour

Je t’aimerai toujours xo
