Annette Dupont

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Annette Dupont (nee Chevrefils), aged 86 years, of St. Georges, Manitoba.

Leaving to cherish her memory are her children Lucie, Michel, Denis (Diane), grandson Randy (Taylor), great-grandson Rowan, step grandchildren Ricky (Tahne), Christopher (Sheila) and 2 step great-grandchildren.

Annette also leaves to mourn her brothers Robert (Jeannine), Philip, Alcide (Jo-Anne); sisters Eva, Lucille and Corinne (Roger); sister-in-law Olivine and numerous nieces/nephews, cousins and friends.

Annette was predeceased by her parents Zephir and Delvina; loving husband Paul; siblings Leo and Noella; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, cousins and friends.

Annette was born in St. Georges where she lived for the majority of her life with her beloved husband Paul until his death in 2010.  She worked at the Pine Falls Hospital in the laundry department for approximately 10 years and volunteered her time at the Community Centre.   She was an avid knitter and crocheter, even though she was afflicted with arthritis.  Her afghans, scarves and socks were donated to family members as well as Siloam Mission when she resided in Winnipeg for the last 10 years of her life.   She was also an excellent baker with a freezer full of dainties during the Christmas season.  During her final years, she enjoyed her Sudoku and Word Search on a daily basis.  

Funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the St. Georges Roman Catholic Church with Father Sebastian Ejie officiating.  Interment to follow at St. Georges Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Actionmarguerite (Saint-Boniface) for their care and compassion during her final days.
