Donald T. Adams

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Dad and Pop, Donald “Don” Adams on August 15, 2025 at his home in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. Don was 90 years old and lived a full happy life with his loving wife of 70 years, Ena. Don was well loved by any and all who had the privilege to know him. Don leaves to mourn his wife Ena, daughter Leah, grandchildren Stephanie (Chris), Neil (Lindsay), Erin (Rick) and Michael. He also sadly leaves his precious great-grandchildren Eve, Kelsey, Erica, Owen and Fiona to remember their “Pop”. Donald also leaves to mourn his passing, his brother Baxter and sisters Rowena, Jane, Josephine (Bill) and Ina as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews and friends both near and far.

Donald was predeceased by his daughter June (Stewart), son-in-law Ken, both of his parents Aaron and Leah, brother Manual (Shirley), sister Myra (Morley), sisters-in-law Verlie (Bernard) and Elsie as well as brothers-in-law Gordon (Evelyn), Dave, Bill (Betty), Frank and Gordon. In his lifetime, he also had to said good-bye to his loving parents-in-law Walneta and Edmund Wiseman.

As per Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family internment will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to thank the staff and Admin Coordinator at the Lac du Bonnet and Area Home Care program as well as Dr. Bruneau and the staff at the Lac du Bonnet Medical Group for their care and compassion during Donald’s final years/months.

In leu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to a charity of your choice in his name.
