Donna Marcia Davidson (nee Martin)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna, on December 26, 2025, at the age of 69 years.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Viola and Leon, her sister Susan, and her brother Timothy. She is survived by her husband Ernie; her children Jennifer, Michael, and Candis; and her cherished granddaughters Ashley, Madilyn, Sara and Alex. She also leaves behind her brothers Terry, Darrell, Wayne, and Robbie; her sisters Loretta, Agnes, and Verna; as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Donna’s life was a tapestry woven with laughter, generosity, and an extraordinary gift for bringing people together. Whether she was gathered around a table sharing one of her delicious home‑cooked meals, enjoying the outdoors, or shuffling a deck of cards for a friendly game, she created moments that made everyone feel welcome and at ease.

Her hands were rarely still. Through every quilt she stitched, she poured her creativity, patience, and care into something that would bring warmth and beauty into the homes of those she loved. Yet it was her heart that left the deepest impression. Donna’s kindness reached anyone who needed it, and she touched countless lives simply by being herself. She spoke her truth with a warmth that made her honesty comforting rather than sharp.

Those who knew her will carry her warmth forward, grateful for the love, comfort, and joy she brought into the world. She will be remembered for her joyful presence, her generous spirit, and her unwavering love for her family.

Her legacy lives on in every life she brightened, every gathering she made special, and every quilt that continues to wrap someone in her love.

At Donna’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.
