Doreen Mildred Wiebe

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, granny, and oma, Doreen Wiebe, who passed away at the Beausejour Hospital, with family at her side, on January 28, 2026, at the age of 94.

She is predeceased by her first husband, John Wiebe, and her second husband Lorne Knopf. As well she is predeceased by her parents Hulda and Ferdinand; her brothers Albert, Oscar, Edgar, and Willie; her sisters Florence, Edna, Rosie Howk, and Gloria Honkey.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Karen Sobetski, Ernie (Elaine) Wiebe, grandchildren Jeff (Lori) Sobetski, Tammy Ryan (Douglas), Jason (Ryna) Wiebe and Grant (Melissa) Wiebe; great-grandchildren Jordan Sobetski, Katlyne Sobetski, Jaida Wiebe, and Aubrey Wiebe.

Many thanks to the staff at Stony Plains and Beausejour Hospital for all the care and compassion they showed towards our mother.

A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 403 First Street N, Beausejour, MB on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with viewing 1 hour prior. Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery.
