Eileen Doreen Klingbell

October 29, 1945 — November 12, 2025

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen Klingbell, beloved aunt, on November 12, 2025. Though her life's journey was marked by challenges, her spirit was a beacon of kindness and quiet strength to those who chose to love her.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary, and her nephew, Richard Klingbell.

She is survived by her loving niece Tammy, great-nieces, Sarah and Emily, and her brother Allan.

She was born on October 29, 1945, and grew up in Beausejour. She loved school with math being her favourite subject. After graduation, she moved to Winnipeg and worked various jobs, with Champs KFC standing out with her pride in being commended for her customer service skills.

Eileen faced the difficulties of living with mental illness with dignity and courage. Even in her most difficult moments, she faced life with strength and resilience. Her story reminds us all that kindness and compassion to others is essential, and that every life has value and beauty and we all matter.

Eileen spent the last 5 years of her life being cared for at Beacon Hill Lodge. She always had a smile for the staff, and was happiest when she had her hair done and her fingernails painted.

Her faith in God was the most important thing in her life and gave her comfort. She is now free of pain and fear and struggle, and we take comfort that she is now in her eternal home. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Thank you to the staff of the 9th floor of Beacon Hill for providing care and love to her. It is appreciated.

A Graveside Service is planned for Monday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the Beausejour Town Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
