Peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, our beloved mom, grandma and great-grandma left this world to be with her Lord and Saviour.

She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her two sons, Roger (Sheila) and Harlon (Barbara); her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren Carleen (Trevor), Aubrey & Grayson; Jeremy (Robyn), Gavin, Camden & Kassidy; Pamela (Shane), Reese & Hunter; Krista (Darren), Liam, Hallie & Linden; and Breanne (Aaron), Brooke & Dawson. She is also survived by her sister Lillian.

Mom was predeceased by her loving husband William; her parents Adolph and Natalie; her siblings Alvina, Mary, Emil, Henry, Harry & Roy; and her great-grandson TJ Staska.

Mom was born on August 30, 1930 in Green Bay, MB. She married Dad on June 4, 1950 and together they raised their family on the farm in Brokenhead. In the fall of 1989 they retired to Beausejour and enjoyed many years renewing old friendships and making many new ones. After dad passed, Mom continued living in their house in Beausejour and eventually moved to Stoney Plains until her passing.

The family expresses their grateful appreciation to all the wonderful staff at Stoney Plains for their excellent care.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church, Beausejour, MB., with Pastor Terry Gudmundson officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom’s memory may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Box 968, Beausejour, MB  R0E 0C0.
