In the 1990’s Jerry moved to Manitoba and pursued a career in trucking and driver training. Eventually, he retired near Pine Falls where he remained active in the community. He served on the executive of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 64 for many years and was a driver for the Interlake Regional Health Authority Handivan.
Jerry had many interests and was seldom idle. He became quite skilled in the art of wine making, enjoyed woodworking -- making everything from lawn furniture to wooden spoons -- and in the summers his flowers and vegetable gardens were his pride and joy and were the envy of many. He will be greatly missed.
The family would like to express sincere thanks to friends and loved ones who offered support at this very heartbreaking time.
