Gerald William Kachur

In the early hours of the morning on Monday, September 28th with his loving family by his side, Gerry passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 85.

Gerry is survived by his loving wife, Mary, of 62 years, his daughters Tamara (Michael Lussier), Stacey (Boyd Johnson) and son Jarrett (Michelle) Kachur.

He is further survived by his grandchildren Matthew (Samantha), Brett (Neen), Gabriel, Kierra, Jenna, Karis, Rachel, Leah, and Jolie. He is also survived by his sister Irene (John) Grewinski.

Gerry was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Anne Kachur, and infant brother Ronald.

Gerry was a dedicated teacher and a long-time member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross. He was also a member of the Lac du Bonnet Lions Club.

Honorary pallbearers are John Grewinski, Wally Hrychany, Peter Solomon, Michael Lussier, Boyd Johnson, and Jarrett Kachur.

Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, donations may be made to the Ukraine or The Lutheran Church of the Cross.

A private family service will be held.
