Gerhard Martin

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and opa, Gerhard Martin, who passed away at the Beausejour Hospital on April 30, 2021 at the age of 82.

Gerhard Martin was born July 14, 1938 in Satke Ukraine.  The long march from Satke to Northern Germany in 1943 instilled in him a toughness he carried on throughout his life.  

 Survived by his wife Ingrid and four children, Cornelia (Trevor), Gerd, Eric (Danae) and Mark (Jayme) and his weiner dog Maxie, to which we were all a distant second.

 His love of horses was so much that it became entrenched upon his children and grandchildren.  Brady, Brooke, Abbey, Helen, Jade, Colton and Emma. 

The family would like to thank the staff at the Beausejour Hospital for all the care and compassion they showed to Gerhard.
