Katherine Schichl, aged 99 years, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children Dorothy (Charlie), Jim (Linda), Hilda (Larry), and Les (Donna), eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Mathias (Hans) in 1978 and her three sisters.
Mom was a great animal lover from cats to skunks to weasels…She enjoyed reading, playing scrabble, cards and crossword puzzles.
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
