Kurt Semmler

It is with sadness that we announce that Kurt Semmler has passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the age of 88.   He has now reunited with his dear wife Hildegard of 61 years who predeceased him in 2018.

He will be remembered by his sons Ralf (Colleen) and Bob, granddaughters Sarah (Gary) and Kate (Ryan), great grandsons Jack, Max and James, nieces, nephews and his sister Gertraud of Germany.

We wish to acknowledge and sincerely thank the following heroes for their care and kindness:  Dr. Nicholas Van Rensburg and the Beausejour Hospital Staff, Beausejour Home Care Coordinators and Staff, Tudor House PCH Staff in Selkirk, Dr. Nader Shenouda, and the wonderful staff at Kin Place PCH in Oakbank for always brightening his days.  Words are never enough to express the gratitude we have for you all.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 403 First Street N., Beausejour.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
