Larry Frank Holgate

After a lengthy illness we lost the love of our lives. He loved his two children and grandchildren and wife Dianne with all his heart, Tamara Best husband Matthew, Grandchildren; Maddison, Samuel. Corey Holgate wife Jessie and grandchild Seth.

He will be greatly missed by his family; his siblings Shirley Holgate, Terri Pettinger, Jim Holgate, Lori Holgate, and Jason Holgate.

Larry grew up in East St. Paul; he loved curling and sports. He loved getting together with close friends to have bonfires, listening to music and doing his chair dancing.

He was a man of very few words but always tried to help anyone and the kids called dad, "how do I do this?" and "what color’s do you suggest?".

He also loved to drive semi, seeing various places, sometimes with his wife.

Thank you to his very many doctors for the care and compassion they had given.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation in honor of Larry.

Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
