Lila Louise Dubé (nee Boulet)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Lila Dubé on May 13, 2025, at the age of 68.

Lila was born in St. Georges, Manitoba, where she grew up and met the love of her life, Marcel Dubé who became her husband and were married for 52 years. Lila and Marcel remained in St. Georges where they raised their two daughters, Miranda Dubé and Melissa Dubé.

Lila was a woman of many talents, including being an excellent cook and baker. In her early years she went to college to become a chef, however, eventually dedicated her life to working in homecare with a career spanning over 20 years, caring for families and creating lasting bonds with the people she cared for.

She enjoyed gardening, adorning her home with beautiful yard landscapes and taking pride in the care for her plants. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends; whether it was family BBQ's, pontoon boat outings or time spent at the beach, her love of being around family was always felt.

Family was of great importance to Lila, and she loved spending time with her three granddaughters Phoenix Dubé -Fleming, Kinley Boisvert and Aizley Boisvert, teaching them how to bake, working in the garden and sharing in the joy of the things she loved doing.

Mom was a matriarch, caring for her family and others around her. She was strong and vibrant always willing to help others and worked hard to accomplish everything she set out to do. She will always be in our hearts and remembered as a beautiful soul that gave and taught us all so much. We love you!
