It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda Ruth Neduzak on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 after a long battle with breast cancer. Linda leaves to mourn her daughter Carolyn (Carrie), daughter-in-law Gizele, sisters Susie, Alma, Della, Evy (Bill), and brother Ray (Henriette). Her loss will also be mourned by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles (Chuck) and son Dale. She was also predeceased by siblings, Martha (Marne), Herbert (Herbie), and Erwin.
Linda was born in Beausejour and spent her entire life here. She was one of nine children born to Gustav and Ottilige Beger. Prior to her marriage she worked for Royal Bank in Winnipeg, where she was the head teller. In 1956 she married the love of her life Chuck Neduzak. She was a dedicated and loving mother to Dale and Carrie, as well as a devoted wife to Chuck.
Linda was a passionate supporter of the Association of Community Living (ACL) and worked tirelessly to ensure the proper care of her daughter Carrie and other residents. She loved growing her vegetable garden and tending to her flowers especially her prized fern-leaf peony. Linda was an avid shopper and enjoyed her weekly trips to Polo Park. She was also a skilled bargain hunter and rarely bought anything at regular price! Linda had a great eye for style and was known for her chic fashion sense. Linda was a lifelong, faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church. Her faith helped her through some of the most difficult moments of her life.
Many thanks to those who provided help and support to keep Linda in her home as long as possible. Special thanks to Dr. Liu, Dr. Christiansen, the palliative care team of Dr. Clark and Laura Klammer, and the compassionate home care nurses and aides who visited Linda almost daily. Thank you to the staff at the Beausejour Hospital who provided dedicated care and comfort during Linda’s final days. Thanks also to her sister Evy Stasko, niece Kim Wenzoski, daughter-in-law Gizele Neduzak, Kelly Vincent, Betty Mahoney and John and Jen Weimar. They gave generously of their time to make Linda’s final months happy ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 1035 Park Avenue, Beausejour on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Linda will be buried with her beloved husband Chuck at the Beausejour Cemetery, James Avenue. A luncheon will follow at Sobering.
