Mary left this world but her love lives on in the hearts of those who are still earthside.
Mary will be deeply missed by her daughter Val Laurie (Wayne), son Philip Korolewich (Denise), her grandchildren Robyn Laurie Sugden (Ronnie), Colten Korolewich (Carly), Brooklyn Kaminski (Clint), and her great grandchildren Maple and Juniper Sugden, and Lavinia and Lexton Kaminski. She will also be missed by her sisters Nellie Yurkowski and Virginia Milkowski (Carl). She was predeceased by her parents Martin and Rose Surowich, and her siblings Lawrence Surowich, Casmir Surowich and Carol Shumilak. And the most special reunion of all, reconnected with the love of her life, John Korolewich.
Mom, Grandma, Granny, Mimi, Great Granny. You were strong, determined, generous, and showed your love openly. You had many friends and were a social butterfly, always playing cards and going on casino trips. A farmgirl at heart, you loved gardening and tending to your flowerbeds. You were an artist and loved to paint and sew. You made sure that everyone left your house with full bellies and arms full of gifts. While you were with us you made us all feel loved and cared for, and you always put family first. We love you, say hello to Dad/Grandpa in Heaven for us.
A special thanks to Harold Shum for taking care of Mary for so many years.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date for close friends and family. If you would like to attend, please contact Sobering Funeral Chapel for information.
