Nellie Margaret Klym (nee Mamrocha)

Peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2026, with her family by her side, Nellie Klym, aged 93 years went to be with her Lord and Saviour.

Nellie was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years Andrew; her parents Zygmunt and Margaret Mamrocha, and her siblings Joe, Caroline, Casmir and Edward.  She leaves to cherish her memory, sister Adele Garbolinski, and sisters-in-law Betty Mamrocha, and Rose Klym, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Nellie was born on April 10, 1933, on the family farm in Allegra.  She married Andrew Klym on July 12, 1952, and together they made a beautiful life together in Winnipeg.  Nellie worked at the Candy Factory and Sewing Factory and was proud of her work especially mastering making pleated skirts.

Nellie's faith was very important to her.  This devotion led her to take immense pride in the grass cutting and maintenance at the Lowland and Allegra Cemeteries.

She was a very kind woman with a beautiful sense of humor.  She will be missed by all of us including the rabbits she used to feed outside her apartment.  We take comfort knowing you are now reunited with your beloved Andrew.

The family would like to thank all the people and staff of Devonshire House, Home Care and Concordia Hospital for all their care and compassion.  As well as Father Taras Kowch and Bob and Helen Milks for their spiritual care.

Funeral service will be held at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church in Beausejour on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Box 114, Beausejour, MB  R0E 0C0
