Suddenly, on May 27, 2014, at the age of 86 years, with a smile on his face and joking with the nurses, our dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away.
He is survived by his wife Helen of 65 years, along with his eight children; Kris (Dave), Janis (Joe), John (Cathie), Norma (Miles), Michael (Melainie), Kathleen (Dennis), Laura (Steve), Angela (Dale) and his grandchildren Derek (Jennifer), Robbie (Christie), Sharlean (Jayson), Leanne, Kristopher (Shelley), Tara (Nadav), Jennifer (Derrick), Lee, Chantelle (Rohan), Jacey (Tessa), Dedrie and 13 great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Van Rensburg and all the loving staff at the Crocus Unit in East Gate Lodge in Beausejour for their care over the past couple of years.
A private family gathering will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
