It is with great sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Teresa Ann Johnson (nee LeClair) on February 15, 2026 at the age of 59.
Teresa is survived by her children Kyla and Cody, their father Darryl, her granddaughter Sapphire and her father Christopher, siblings Darlene, Joan (Bill), Al (Diane), Larry, and Mark (Marilyne) along with many loving nieces and nephews and several close friends all whom adored her and miss her very much.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents George and Margaret, In-Laws Giles and Bev and Jim, siblings Jean, Bess, Joe, Judy and MaryAnn, sister-in-law Vi, brothers-in-law Wilf, Mike, Laurie, nieces Barbara, Kathy, Tina and nephew Wayne.
Teresa had many great joys in her life - being a mum to daughter Kyla, son Cody and Nana to her beautiful Sapphire were her favorite. She was a lover of all animals and had many fur babies over the years, and was especially fond of her horse, Max.
Teresa was such a kind-hearted and fun person to be with. She loved to tease her big brothers and sisters and took delight in all of her nieces and nephews. Teresa had a very strong sense of family. She was the baby in a family of 11 children. She grew up in a house where you were never alone.
Teresa worked for several years as a Special Needs Educational Assistant at the English Elementary school in Lorette. She spoke often of the children that were in her care. She absolutely loved her job and the people she worked with.
Her younger years were spent doing anything outdoors with many of her nieces and nephews since they were close in age. As an adult, her family moved to Dufresne where she loved country living and all that it offered. Teresa could be found riding a lawn tractor or a horse, as long as she was outside, she was living her best life.
The family would like to thank Teresa's close friend, Cindy for her love and support.
As per Teresa's request, there will be no funeral service. A private moment will be spent with Darryl and their children.
Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her wide-network of community. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and asks that in lieu of flowers, you spend some time in the great outdoors with your loved ones in Teresa's memory.
"May the road rise to meet you... And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand."
