Terrance “Terry” Baker

September 27, 1960 — June 17, 2023

September 27, 1960 – June 17, 2023

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Daddy, brother, uncle and friend, Terry Baker, on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at his residence, with his wife and daughter by his side.

Terry will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Lori and his loving daughter Allysa Baker.  He will be sadly missed by his siblings Corrine (Bill) Armstrong, Debbie (Keith) Litke, Andy (Jan) Baker, and Curtis Baker.  Also mourning his passing are his mother-in-law Marcella Garner, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Terry was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Ilene Baker, his father-in-law Terry Garner, and brother-in-law Darryl Garner.

Terry was born September 27, 1960 in Beausejour and spent his entire life there, growing up on the family farm in Cromwell.  During his younger years, Terry was involved in snowmobile racing and was a past-president of CPTC, where he spent countless hours volunteering.  He played slow-pitch baseball for many years and also enjoyed golfing, curling, and fishing.

In 1988, Terry married the love of his life, Lori, and they were later blessed with the birth of their cherished daughter Allysa.  Terry was a devoted husband and father who loved to cook and garden.  He loved his pets, music, and was known for his excellent sense of humour.  He took great pleasure in the simple things in life, like cutting wood and sitting in front of a fire in his wood stove.

Terry farmed with his family for many years and after he retired from farming, Terry went on to do maintenance work at Kin Place in Oakbank and was last employed at Bodnar Quarries in Garson, which he enjoyed very much.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour, with interment to follow in St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beausejour Hospital Wheelchair Fund.
