Peacefully after many health issues and challenges, Victoria passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 91 years, at her residence in East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home.

Vicki is survived by her two sons Randy and wife Iris (Schoenberger) and their children Matthew and Brandi (Winnicki) and Ryan and Katie (McLaren) and their children Emma and Emmett, Terry and wife Susan (Huntington) and their children Corey and Rob, Spencer and Katelyn; the Bialek sisters-in-law Helen Bretchka, Cathy Glowacki, Betty Regula and Rosalia (Patron) Bialek.
Her family meant everything to Vicki. Her love was always evident for her sons, their wives, her four grandsons, and especially her two great grandchildren Emma and Emmett.
Vicki loved making and serving great food. Her recipes for headcheese, borscht, cabbage rolls, perogies, easter soup and lemon meringue pie and everything else she made were legendary. She also enjoyed serving great food when she worked at The Sheri-Ann and Lee’s Village Restaurants in Beausejour and Ludwick Catering. Earlier in her life she helped on the farm, doing whatever was required and then some more. She enjoyed many years volunteering and visiting all the fellow senior citizens at the Beau-Head Senior Centre in Beausejour. Vicki’s family enjoyed her desire to own all the collector plates she could. When Ed and Vicki moved out of their residence, we found out exactly how many she collected. Each grandchild inherited many boxes of these plates. Ed and Vicki loved picking fruit and berries. There were frequent trips to Portage la Prairie for strawberries and lots of trips all over Eastern Manitoba and West Ontario for blueberries.
The family has nothing but praise for the staff at Stony Plains Terrace and East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home. Mom spent eleven years in Stony plains Terrace and seven years in East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home. The staff at both facilities treated Victoria with great care, compassion and assistance. Bless you all. Thanks to Dr. Van Rensburg who helped guide mom through all her challenges.
