Wilbert Paul Klapprat

Wilbert passed away at the Lac du Bonnet Care Home on June 20, 2026, at the age of 92.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Cecelia (nee Schreyer); his son Robert and daughter Shirley (Frank), as well as his sisters Lorraine Germain and Beverley (Ed) Strick. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Adele Pawley and Carol Hull and brother-in-law Lawrence Schreyer. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

He is predeceased by his parents Ferdinand and Erna Klapprat, his brother Lawrence and sister-in-law Brenda, brother Alvin and sister-in-law Alice and his sister Linda at the age of 2.

We also want to acknowledge Wilbert’s brother-in-law Louis Germaine who passed several hours after Wilbert.

As per Wilbert’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
