William Borysowich

May 7, 1915 to March 18, 2010

Peacefully on Thursday, March 18, 2010, William slipped through the surly bonds of this earth and flew to the waiting arms of his Lord and Saviour. William was predeceased by his wife Olga in 2004.

He is survived by his children Eilene Kendall of South Carolina, Barbara (Gary) Taylor of Winnipeg; grandchildren Jacklin and Kevin Taylor; brothers John (Anne) of Beausejour, Emil of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews.

William was born on May 7, 1915 in Garson, MB. He grew up, worked and lived in the Tyndall area for most of his life. In his younger years, he worked in logging camps and for Imperial Oil but farming was in his blood. It was his passion and main livelihood throughout his life. He also worked at Coop Implements for a for a while until he retired but continued to live on the farm that he loved so much. Family and friends were important to him and he enjoyed getting together with them and always had a good story and a few jokes to share with them. He was always willing to help a friend and neighbor whenever he could. He loved his family very much and his grandchildren were a great source of pride to him. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. William spent the past five years at Golden Door Geriatric Centre and the immediate family would like to thank the staff for their care and compassion in easing his transition from this world to the next.
