William Kalmakoff
June 19, 1940 — January 12, 2026
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved stepfather, papa and brother, William Kalmakoff, who passed peacefully on January 12, 2026 at the age of 85, at Concordia Hospital.
He was predeceased by his parents Annie and Peter, his wife Vera, as well as brothers Donald and Sandy and brother-in-law Ronald.
He will be lovingly remembered by his stepdaughters Jan (Rob), Charlene, Tracy, and Phyllis. He is survived by his sister Marion and nephews Darryl (Shelley) and Craig (Trish). He also leaves his grandchildren: Colleen, Cheryl, Corey, Chris, Ryan, Andy, Kyle and Jeff and great grandchildren: Trenton, Tyrell, Brenan, Teagan and Migizi.
As per William’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
Many thanks to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre and Concordia Hospital for all the care and compassion they showed to William.
