It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Rene Joseph Raymond on February 24, 2013. Beloved by his wife Lorraine, daughters Marlene, Ramona Forsyth (Ed), sons Michel (Jo-Anne), Peter (Karen), Paul (Rachel), Laurent (Darlene), 20 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brother Emile (Lenora), sister Hilda Aston (Jack) and many nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his parents Narcisse & Marie Raymond, son David, great grandson Levi and 8 brothers and sisters.
Rene was born on April 3, 1930 in Fisher Branch, Mb. He enjoyed life as a free thinking family man who had ideas and visions that he put into motion. Today he would be considered an ‘Entrepreneur’.
Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, February 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church in Powerview, MB.

We will love him forever and miss him until we meet again.
