With deep sadness, we announce the passing of a great man. Rick lived a good life, filled with much love and laughter. He will be missed by many, but especially his wife, Heather and their children Reuben (10), Sierra (9), Amy (7) and Luke (5); his parents, Les and Esther Kurbis and his brothers, Brian (Debby), Tim (Tracy) and Kevin (Andrea); In-laws, John and Bonnie Hildebrand, Ben, Chrissy (Daniel), Katie (Jeff), Lloyd (Courtney) and William; also nieces and nephews Jordan (Jackie), Kailey, Morgan, Colby, Hudson, Owen and Hannah.
Heather would like to thank everyone for the huge outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
Rick’s funeral will be held on Saturday, October 13 at 4:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thalberg with viewing one hour prior. A reception will follow at the Thalberg Parish Hall for one last celebration in Rick’s honour.
