Mr. Ronald (Ronnie) Schinkel, aged 70 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Pinawa Hospital.
He is survived by his loving wife Betty of 33 years (as of today, August 9), his children Doug (Julie), Don, Denise (Tom) and Joe (Amanda), his siblings Elvin (Yvette), Harold (Joyce), Reinhart (Evelynn), Leslie (Elizabeth) and Norma (Harold), many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Reinhold and mother Lydia Schinkel, and his daughter Cathy.
As per Ronnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 0C8.
