A Celebration of Life will be held on

Friday, July 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.

at Great Falls Hall, MB.

All are welcome to attend.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom, Bernice Wilde, 87, at Sunnywood Manor on April 25, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Our mother, Bernice, was one of the kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was fortunate to have had her as our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always put her family first. Bernice radiated happiness and always made you feel like you were the most important person in the room.

On April 14, 1956, she married Daniel Wilde and they went on to have two children. She will be remembered with love by her daughters Shelley (Mike d.) and Cindy (Ken), grandchildren Melissa (Brayden), Kaelyn (Chris), Stacey (Travis), Cassandra (Jordan) and Garrett (Hannah), great-grandchildren Bohdi, Emily, Lily, Pierce, Norah, Kathryn and Julia, brother Joe (Shelly) and special people to her heart Ken Flanagan (friend), Judy Fenez, Joyce Sharpe (nieces), Allan Tardiff (Godson) and all of her family and friends.

Bernice was predeceased by her husband Daniel Wilde, her parents Evelyn and William Tardiff, her brothers Leo, Ovide and Maurice Tardiff; sisters Terry Thomas & Germaine Berthelette; brothers-in-law Richard Thomas & Leon Berthelette; sisters-in-law Rose, Kay and June Tardiff.

Bernice was the best travel companion to horse shows and was an avid hockey and soccer fan where she enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren. She loved her cats, a fresh perm, a clean house, reading the newspaper and bowling.  She looked after the Great Falls bowling alley for many years. Bernice also enjoyed walking around the town of Great Falls to socialize with her fellow neighbors.

Bernice was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. She will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Thank you to the Sunnywood Manor staff for taking such great care of Bernice.  Thank you to family and friends for visiting her, she always enjoyed company.
