October 14, 1958 – September 16, 2020

Early morning on September 16th, 2020, Cheryl Griffin passed away peacefully at Beausejour General Hospital,  ending her brief battle with aggressive esophagus cancer.

To Robert Griffin she was a treasured wife, best friend, and the love of his life, cherished daughter to Lorraine and Ivan Pederson, loving and adored mother to her two sons Robert Griffin Jr (Danielle), and Randy Griffin (Adela), and beloved grandmother and namesake to River Faye Griffin.  She was a loving and supportive sister to Louise Pederson and Shannon Meisner (Pederson).  Not to mention hundreds of family and friends’ lives she touched.  She will be forever missed by the terrific, loving, strong, family she has created.

She enjoyed a 40 year career as a government services worker for the Government of Manitoba working from Winnipeg, Selkirk and Lac du Bonnet where she made life long friendships.

Cheryl adored so much of the life she was given, especially the outdoors at her favorite place, White Lake, Manitoba.  She was also a creative artist and talented musician, often drawing or painting on rainy days at the lake, or strumming her guitar around the campfire.  No matter where she was, or what she was doing, she was happiest surrounded by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.  A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
