Clifford Houston

1933 ~ 2012

After a courageous battle, Clifford (Buddy) Houston passed away on September 5, 2012, at the age of 79 with his family by his side.  Buddy is survived by his wife Claudette, son’s  Allan (Barbara), Edgar (Diana), Raymond (Tracy) and Clifford (Diane), grandchildren Alana, Chad, Michelle, Raymond, Justin, Mackenzie, Tess, Adam, Clifford, Tylor and Jake, his great-grandchildren Brenen, Alyssa, Seth, Hayden,  Justin Jr., Lily and Jason and his siblings Myrtle, Sadie (Leon), Joyce, Dennis (Marie) and Roland.

Buddy was predeceased by his son Jason, parents Agnes and Joseph, and siblings Stanford, Doug, Rose and Kenny.

Buddy had many talents.  He was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus and the church.  He spent his life playing his guitar and singing to the heavens.  Fishing was another of Buddy’s passion, he was the envy of many a fisherman.

Buddy was very proud of the accomplishments of his grandchildren and loved them all very much.

Funeral service was held at Notre Dame du Laus Catholic Church in Powerview at noon on Saturday, September 8, 2012, viewing at 11:00, with Father James Gray officiating.  Interment followed.

Active pallbearers are his grandchildren Chad, Justin, Clifford, Tylor, Tess and Adam Houston.
