Dolores Chagnon (nee Berthelette)

January 3, 1936 ~ December 3, 2022

It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother on December 3, 2022.  Our hearts are broken and she will be forever missed by many.  She was loved and cherished by all who knew her.

Predeceased by her husband Romeo, daughters Lucy & Suzanne.  Grandchildren Samantha & Dale.  Sister Claudette (Buddy) & brother Pat.

Dolores is mourned by her daughters Doris (Louis), Vivian, RoseAnna (Ray), and Anita (Gerry), sons Raymond and Marcel.  Beloved grandchildren Conan, Justin, Natalie, Jared, Jessica, Tiffany, Dustin, Thomas, Ashley, Morgan, Stacey, Monique, Renée and their spouses, and 12 loved great grandchildren.  Sister Irene, brothers Ralph (Wanda), Joe (Elsie), and Wilfred, sister in-law Louise.  Many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many friends in the community.

Dolores spent her time with family on many outdoor excursions, teaching us all about Mother Nature and hard work. She enjoyed her flower gardens and bird watching.  She was a great cook.  And most of all she loved her family.  She built countless memories for us to revisit keeping her in our hearts forever.

Due to her request, services will be held in spring at Notre Dame du Laus, Powerview.

Our sincere condolences, your mom was a very special lady indeed! She brought energy to everyone and everything that crossed her path. Your home was always open to all the kids in town, there was always something cooking and no kid went hungry. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree as you all have a special trait of mom that is unique in each and every one of you.
One thing for sure is you never forget the neighborhood families you grew up with and all the great times we had.
    Take Care of each other

My deepest condolences to all the family
My earliest memories include auntie Delores. She was the base for all to call home amongst her own.
    Her laughter filled a room.
One day we’ll all sit around your table again.
Much love ❤️ Rest in eternity, rest in peace.

Condolences to all the family. Delores was a very special lady to me. Whenever I seen her I was greeted with a warm hug. Loved by all and will be remembered for her beautiful flowers in the church, outside the church and in her yard of course! She will be and is missed. Prayers to all the family. Lose is never easy. Your mom was a true trooper!! Ox
