Dorothy Kulbaba (nee Nash) died peacefully at the age of 99 in the Whitemouth Personal Care Home on October 30,2019.
Dorothy is survived by her granddaughter Nadine Kanik (Todd). She was predeceased by her son Henry (Wallingham) and her husband Mike.
Dorothy was born on August 7, 1920 and spent much of her life in the Whitemouth community. She was well known as a pioneer in the area and lived on and worked her farm for many years before becoming a health care aid at the hospital in Whitemouth. She shared many amazing stories from her 99 years in rural Manitoba. Dorothy was an accomplished gardener, crafter, and made delicious preserves. She was also very handy with tools and could find a way to fix almost anything.
Dorothy will be buried at the Whitemouth Cemetery following a memorial service at Ross United Church on November 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
