Honore (Henry) Fredrick J. B. Emery

September 5, 1938 to December 1, 2010

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Henry on December 1, 2010 at his home in Ste. Rita, MB. Henry was born at St. Boniface September 5, 1938 and lived in Ste. Rita most of his life. Henry married Martha Ann O’Kane on March 9, 1963.

They moved to Abbotsford, BC in 1967 where Henry learned the Drywall Trade. He became a Journeyman Taper-Finisher and took great pride in his work, he was a perfectionist at it. He moved back to Ste. Rita in 1986 and worked in the area until his retirement. He is survived by his sons Terry of Medicine Hat, AB, Henry (Kris) of Cranbrook, BC, daughters Malvina Gagnon of Cranbrook, BC, Jeanne (Heith) Moonie of Medicine Hat, AB, Joanie (Scott) Chamberlain of Cranbrook, BC, brothers Arthur, Louis (Beatrice), Alec (June), Eugene (Sherry), Jerry (Christine), Aime (Barb), sisters Louise (Ted) Kitkowski, Emily (Bob) Robinson, Rita (Ed) Pipala, Christine (Terry) Moore and mother of his children, Martha, of Cranbrook, BC, 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Henry was predeceased by his son Riel, parents Paul and Jean and brother Patrick. Henry will be sadly missed by all who loved him. He will now sleep in peace until the Resurrection. Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held December 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ste. Rita Hall, Ste. Rita, MB with Jerry Lean officiating.
