It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, John, on February 4, 2023.

He is lovingly remembered and survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth; his daughter Kim (Joe) Tyson and grandchildren Cameron and Brayden; and his son Bradley (Terry) Cherewayko.  John also leaves behind his sisters, extended family, and numerous friends; as well as his nephew Bob and niece Elaine.

John was predeceased by his father, mother, sister and brother.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

We were so sorry to hear of John’s passing. He was such a good neighbour at Pinawa Bay and to my parents before they passed. Our deepest sympathy to Liz and the rest of the family. He popped by to visit us last summer and we had a really nice chat around the fire. Ken and Margaret Wonko.
